County to seek grant for DUI checkpoints
Butler County commissioners will vote on Wednesday to apply for a one-year state grant to pay area police officers for participating in the county DUI task force.
County Detective Scott Roskovski said the grant from the state Department of Transportation would be $25,000 and would pay for having officers from municipal police departments participate in roving sobriety checkpoints.
