A Families Forever seminar, offered by Lifesteps, will meet from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Aug. 15 at Lifesteps, 300 Stirling Village.

Families Forever teaches parents how to minimize the negative effects on children involved in divorce and custody.

CHICORA — The Goosetown Picnic will be at noon Aug. 8 at the Chicora Community Park on Route 68.

The event is for current and former Goosetown residents and friends.

There will be a meal at 1 p.m. Hot dogs will be provided. Take a dish to share as well as a table setting and lawn chair.

HARMONY — The Harmony Museum, 218 Mercer St., will host a flea market from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 1 in the museum’s Stewart Hall. Food will be available.

Clean, quality items for the museum’s sale table may be left at the Stewart Hall entrance Thursday and Friday. Clothing and appliances will not be accepted.
