4 p.m. Friday — A two-vehicle crash occurred at the intersection of Dinnerbell Road and Anderson Road in Penn Township.

Police said a car driven by Geoffrey M. Hendricks, 23, of Butler entered the intersection before it was clear and struck a Jeep driven by Virginia M. Swickrath, 58, of Gibsonia.

Hendricks was cited for a stop sign violation.

Friday — Police said Michel L. Stone, 60, of Sarver fled the scene of an accident after his car struck a tree along Sarver Road in Clinton Township.

Police said Stone was speeding when he lost control of the vehicle around a left curve in the road. His car was towed.

5:58 p.m. June 26 — Robert M. Whitlatch, 20, of Kennerdell, Venango County, was arrested for suspected DUI after he crashed his car along West Sunbury Road, just north of Branchton Road, in Cherry Township. Police said Whitlatch’s northbound vehicle struck a utility pole, spun counter-clockwise and hit a boulder along the eastern shoulder of the road. Neither Whitlatch nor a passenger in the vehicle, Nikki L. Fajohn, 20, of Boyers, were wearing seat belts, police said. Both suffered minor injuries but refused treatment at the scene.

1:54 a.m. June 23 — Sidney Snyder, 59, of Butler was arrested for suspected DUI at the intersection of Walker Drive and North Main Street Extension in Center Township.
