3:38 p.m. Wednesday — A car driven by George Dunmire, 65, of Kittanning collided with a car driven by Mary E. Leitem, 59, of Butler at the intersection of Hansen Avenue and Fairground Hill Road.

Police said Dunmire drove through a red light. He was cited for a traffic signal violation.

10:50 a.m. Tuesday — Police charged Nicholas Williams, 27, of Butler, with retail theft after he allegedly changed the price tags on merchandise at Trader Horn in an attempt to short the business of $313.

2:47 a.m. July 11 — James Brown, 41, of Butler was arrested for suspected DUI on Route 68 between Grant Avenue and Silverton Drive in Oakland Township.

2:55 p.m. July 15 — A car driven by Angela N. Stietenroth, 19, of Farrell struck the rear of a car driven by George L. Bruner, 46, of Grove City as Bruner was stopped to make a left turn off Route 62 in East Lackawannock Township, Mercer County. Both vehicles were disabled due to the crash. Stietenroth was taken to Sharon Regional Hospital with minor injuries, police said.
