6:05 p.m. Monday — Damien R. Hall, 19, of Fenelton was arrested after he allegedly assaulted his girlfriend, Summer Loebig, during a domestic dispute at North Main and West North streets.

Hall is accused of grabbing Loebig and slapping her across the face. She suffered minor injuries. He was arraigned on a charge of simple assault and released on his own recognizance.

Monday — Police charged Dakota C. Cullen, 18, of Butler with simple assault stemming from an incident last month at a home in the 600 block of Center Avenue. Cullen is accused of kicking Steven Fleeger in the knee.

Fleeger notified police of the incident after he developed pain and swelling in the knee. He also went to Butler Memorial Hospital where a physician diagnosed him with a sprained knee, according to court documents.

Police on July 5 spoke to Cullen, who admitted kicking Fleeger but “did not believe that he used enough force to cause any harm,” a police affidavit said.

4:15 p.m. Friday — Douglas C. Fudoli, 46, of Butler Township was arrested after police got a call for a suspected intoxicated man walking through driveways and looking into vehicles in the 500 block of North McKean Street.

Officers found Fudoli, who appeared impaired, on North McKean Street near Charles Street. When police tried to arrest him he resisted and had to be taken to the ground, according to court documents. A subsequent search turned up a capped syringe in his shorts pocket.

He is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.

Tuesday — Police charged Todd Watt, 31, of Prospect in connection with a suspected hit-and-run accident July 9. Watt was driving on the wrong side of the road when he struck an oncoming vehicle, a police report said.

The suspect’s vehicle hit a curb after the collision, flattening two tires. Police said Watt fled on Route 422. He later allegedly stole a license plate and attached it to his car, the report said.

Watt is charged with hit-and-run, driving with a suspended license, driving with an illegal license plate, failing to give information or render aid after an accident and careless driving.

Marie Campbell, 66, of Butler was the other driver.

8:43 p.m. Sunday — An East Butler youth, who police did not identify, was caught allegedly shoplifting about $15 in merchandise at the Walmart at Butler Commons. Police cited the 17-year-old suspect for retail theft.

[naviga:h3]Grove City Police[/naviga:h3]

Monday — Police charged Noah O. McDowell, 33, of Grove City with a felony count of theft by deception after he allegedly used a fraudulent check to open an account at Mercer County State Bank on West Main Street. He later withdrew $2,800 from the account.

According to a police report, McDowell failed to reimburse the bank after being notified that the check was fraudulent.

1:11 a.m. Sunday — Shylear W. Person, 18, of Grove City was arrested after he allegedly assaulted his brother and mother during a domestic dispute at the family’s home on Enclave Drive. Police said they suspect the teen was intoxicated.

Person was arraigned on two counts each of simple assault and harassment, and a charge of underage drinking. He was placed in the Mercer County Jail on $20,000 bail following arraignment.

4:05 p.m. Friday — Casey D. Huffman, 27, of Cranberry Township and Amber R. Williams, 21, of Saxonburg were arrested on felony drug charges after police found 45 stamp bags of suspected heroin in their car on Jamisonville Road in Center Township.

The arrests came during an investigation by the police vice unit, according to court documents. Along with the suspected heroin, police found prescription medication in the vehicle.

Huffman and Williams were arraigned on a charge of felony drug possession, two counts of misdemeanor drug possession and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. Following arraignment, the defendants were placed in the Butler County Prison on $10,000 bail each.

Saturday — A thief stole unspecified property from a barn on Hawk Hill Road in Madison Township. Police have no suspects in the theft that happened between March 1 and Saturday.

[naviga:h3]State Police, Kittanning[/naviga:h3]

6:18 p.m. Sunday — Two unknown white men were caught on a security camera climbing a fence and trespassing at the Armstrong Power plant on Washington Township, Armstrong County. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-543-2011

11:35 p.m. Saturday — An unknown driver lost control of a car and crashed in East Franklin Township. The car hit an embankment and rolled onto its roof on Lemmon Hollow Road. The driver fled the scene of the crash.

[naviga:h3]State Police, Mercer[/naviga:h3]

Sunday — An unknown identity thief made more than $1,400 in unauthorized online purchases using the bank debit card information of a couple from Worth Township, Mercer County. The theft happened Saturday and Sunday.

July 11 — Someone stole a sign for an antique store on Route 19 in Springfield Township. The sign, owned by an Evans City man, was taken between July 1 and 11.
