Knoch grad Pawk does Burnett show

Michele Pawk

NEW YORK — Butler County native Michele Pawk will be reprising her Tony Award-winning performance later this year.

Pawk will perform in Carol Burnett and Carrie Hamilton’s “Hollywood Arms” in a one-night-only performance on Sept. 21 at the Merkin Concert Hall.

She will play the character Louise. The play is based on Burnett’s memoir “One More Time.” It is the story of three generations of women who live in a small apartment on welfare.

Pawk won a 2003 Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play for her role in the play, which originally ran from October 2002 to January 2003.

She is a 1980 graduate of Knoch High School. She attended Allegheny College in Meadville and the College Conservatory of Music in Cincinnati.
