'Moon Over Buffalo' Red Barn Players stage comedy

Susan Allardice and Bruce Travers rehearse for the farce “Moon Over Buffalo” opening July 10 at the Red Barn Theatre.

FRANKLIN TWP, Beaver County — The Red Barn Players’ second show of the season will be the farce “Moon Over Buffalo.”

The show is directed by Nancy Batko and Liz Kline of Cranberry Township.

Performances are set for 8 p.m. July 10 and 11, 16 to 18 and 23 to 25 at the Red Barn Theatre on Route 288.

In the play, George and Charlotte Hay are fading stars of the 1950s. On the brink of a split caused by George’s affair, they receive word that Frank Capra is coming to town to see their matinee, and he might cast them in his movie remake of “The Scarlet Pimpernel.” Of course everything that could go wrong does.

The cast includes Danielle Jacobson of Portersville, Eric McAnallen of Ellwood City, Aaron Zimmerman of New Brighton, Susan Allardice of Bradford Woods, Kate Batko of McCandless Township, Toniaray DiGiacomo of Hampton Township, Ernesto Sanchez of Hopewell Township, and Bruce Travers of Ross Township.

Tickets are $12. Reservations can be made by calling 724-773-7150.
