Betty M. Gamble (Jack) Evans

Betty M. Gamble (Jack) Evans, 91, of Sarver passed away Monday at Good Samaritan Hospice.

Born Feb. 23, 1924, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Clark and Grace (Stroughton) Gamble.

She was a 1942 graduate of Butler High School. She worked at Jack’s Ford for 35 years. Betty enjoyed crossword puzzles, doing latch hook crafts and taking photos.

She leaves behind one son, Ronald (Michelle) Jack of Sarver; one granddaughter, Kimberly (Eric) Smith of Sarver; one grandson, John J. (Kristianne) Jack of Sarver; and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Evans, who died in 1989; two brothers, Robert and Thomas Gamble; and two sisters, Gertrude Noll and Dorothy Snyder.

EVANS — Friends of Betty M. Gamble (Jack) Evans, who died Monday, June 29, 2015, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Fox Funeral Home, 410 W.
