As a volunteer at the Community Health Clinic of Butler County, I am disturbed by the recent article concerning the resignation of Cece Foster (“Community Health Clinic chief resigns”, June 7, Page A7).

The content of that article was disingenuous, misleading and an insult to read. It fooled no one and only served to anger those who know that a great injustice has been done.

My fellow volunteers and I are offended by the disrespect we have received from the board of directors, who refuse to answer our questions. Without us, the clinic could not operate and we deserve more than a few platitudes and insincere, evasive comments.

We are disheartened by the board’s failure to address our concerns and have absolutely no confidence that future decisions will in any way benefit the clinic.
