Laura Kornet

Laura Pezze Kornet of Cranberry Township, formerly of Mt. Airy, Md., celebrated her 100th birthday at Concordia of Cranberry.

She was born May 27, 1915, in Labelle. She married Phillip Kornet on June 25, 1934.

She has four children, Joanne Doty, Phyllis Durdines, Phillip Kornet and Patti Lazarro of Cranberry Township.

She also has seven grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Kornet enjoyed traveling and visited Florida, Hawaii and Spain. She also enjoyed gardening. She was active in her church, community senior groups and a bowling league.
