Flea market, bake sale scheduled

The annual Butler Arbors Flea Market and Bake Sale will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Butler Arbors, 200 Lincoln Ave.

Lunch also will be available.

Class to discuss garden design

MARS — Jill Barger of the Master Gardeners of Butler County will give a free class from 6 to 7:30 p.m. June 17 at the Mars Public Library, 107 Grand Ave.

The class will explore garden design concepts and give ideas for gardening projects. Participants will learn strategies for “thinking on paper” design concepts. Part of the class will be outdoors, weather permitting.

Quilt speaker comes to Sarver

SARVER — Patricia Knoechel will present the newest Quilt in a Day book “All Star Quilts” from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. June 8 at Heide Hall of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 409 Sarver Road.

The Pieceful Patchers Quilt Guild will host the evening that will include the lecture, a trunk show and shopping.
