Doogie Cannon struck out five batters in a complete game victory as Mars upended Center Township 8-2 in Butler County legion baseball play Thursday at Marburger Field.

Tim Rouda singled three times for Mars and Mike Colenello added two base hits.

East Butler 13, Valley 3 — Ian Steighner ripped three singles and a double while collecting four RBI in this lopsided win.

Alex Seybert and Brandon Hildebrand both had a pair of singles and three RBI and Chad White a single and two runs batted in.

Jeremy Moorhead struck out seven in six innings to earn the victory on the mound.
