Robert C. Hansel, 73, of Butler passed away Wednesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born Sept. 19, 1941, in Pittsburgh, the son of the late Edmond and Elizabeth (Leach) Hansel.

Robert enjoyed watching his DVD movie collection and Old Western television shows. He had been a cook at various restaurants in the area.

Surviving are his wife, Anna Marie (Gurner) Hansel of Butler; daughter, Samantha Hansel of Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and two brothers.
