HARRISBURG — State Police Troop D in Butler was assigned three new troopers Friday, as 122 graduates from the State Police Academy were assigned to troops across the commonwealth.

Trask Alexander and Shawn K. Palmer, both of Beaver County, and Sean S. Christofferson of Lawrence County were assigned to Troop D, which is headquartered in Butler Township.

In other assignments, Butler County residents Michael A. Graham was assigned to Troop A in Greensburg, Westmoreland County, while fellow county residents Lauren N. McKinney and Cassandra L. Miller were assigned to Troop E in Erie.

The new troopers were part of the 141st class to graduate from the State Police Academy in Hershey since its opening in 1960.
