Robert T. “Tom” Dolmayer, 69, of Saxonburg passed away Thursday at UPMC Montefiore.

Born March 6, 1946, in Natrona Heights, he was the son of Michael A. Dolmayer and Stella Wesolosky Dolmayer.

Tom had worked as an account supervisor for the Ford Motor Credit Co., followed by a 10-year tenure at Manheim Auto Auction in Butler.

He was a member of Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on the farm. His most treasured pastime was spending time with his granddaughter, Madison, including taking her fishing, quad riding, throwing the football to her and watching her dance and twirl.

Surviving are his wife, Violet Christ Dolmayer, who he married Aug. 21, 1971; his daughter, Tiffany Zellhart of Saxonburg; his son, Jason Dolmayer of Saxonburg; his brother, Henry (Jody) Dolmayer of Sarver; his sister, Wanda (John) Hurst of New Kensington; and his granddaughter, Madison Zellhart.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Patricia Steele; and two brothers, Michael B. Dolmayer and John Dolmayer.

DOLMAYER — Friends of Robert T. “Tom” Dolmayer, who died Thursday, April 30, 2015, will be received from 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Fox Funeral Home, Saxonburg.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church in Glade Mills.
