Support Day of Giving

Butler County Against Heroin Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that hosts the Stand Tall program in our public schools. The drug and alcohol prevention program is presented in the seventh through 12th grades. You can visit our website at standtallbutlercounty.org.

Throughout the school year we offer training and fun activities to the students but our main purpose is to save lives.

Tuesday, May 5, is Butler’s Day of Giving. From 8 a.m. until midnight that day, contributions from the public to more than 30 Butler County nonprofits will be matched by the Pittsburgh Foundation through its Endowment for Butler County

Visit butlergives.org to donate to Butler County Against Heroin and the other participating nonprofits. The Endowment for Butler County has raised match pools of $50,000 and $10,000, respectively from local donors. The minimum donation is $25. You may donate as much as you like, which will be partially matched up to $1,000. Visa, MasterCard and Amex are acceptable.

The board and students appreciate financial support for this drug and alcohol prevention program. All donations go to support the programs, as we are a totally volunteer organization.

If you are concerned about drugs in our schools and community and would like to help fight this problem, you may consider becoming a member of our board by contacting us at seedplanter@zoominternet.net

You can make a difference in the fight against drugs by supporting a Butler Non-Profit Organization and becoming active in one of the support groups.
