Aubery Hulings, vice president of operations for the Farmers National Bank of Emlenton, has been named the 2015 Employee of the Year.

The award, presented annually by Butler Health System during the Butler County Chamber of Commerce’s Employee Appreciation Luncheon, recognizes an outstanding employee at a county business. This year’s luncheon was held at The Atrium in Prospect.

Hulings has worked for Farmers since 2001. She started as a part-time teller and has progressed through numerous roles in the organization.

“Over the years if there was a need in any area of the bank, Aubery was the first person identified to help make the necessary changes to advance our organization,” Jennifer Roxbury, chief operating officer, said of Hulings in her nomination form.

“A gift that Aubery possesses is that she truly cares about the success of each of the bank’s employees and the success of the bank as a whole. She consistently looks for opportunities to lift someone up, advance someone’s career or help develop another employee. Possibly more notably, she will sacrifice her own personal needs to make sure the bank can ultimately serve the needs of our customers,” Roxbury said.

Outside of her duties at the bank, Hulings volunteers for a number of organizations, including serving as the Butler County Chamber’s board chairman for 2015.
