Gerald Hackett Jr. and Lauren Sanderson

A May 23 wedding is being planned by Lauren Sanderson and Gerald Hackett Jr., both of Colonial Beach, Va.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of David and Cheryl Sanderson of Renfrew. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Gerald and Amy Hackett Sr. of Kinsale, Va.

The future bride is a 2008 graduate of Butler High School and a 2012 graduate of Clarion University.

She is employed by the Westmoreland County Public School District in Montross, Va.

Her fiance graduated in 2005 from Washington and Lee High School. He graduated from Cal Poly University in 2009.

He is employed by River Gym in Colonial Beach, Va.
