Susan A. Bates Cunningham
Susan A. Bates Cunningham, 61, of Hopewell Township, formerly of Fombell, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday while in the comfort of her home.
Born on March 19, 1954, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Gladys Bates.
Sue was a member of St. Peter's Reformed Church in Zelienople.
During her free time, she enjoyed playing bingo and crafting, but above all, Sue will be most remembered for her generous heart and the love she had for her family.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her two loving sons, Gary P. Cunningham and his wife, Heather, of Fombell and Keith P. Cunningham and his wife, Jamie, of Hopewell Township; her brother, Raymond Bates of Slippery Rock; her mother-in-law, Deloris Cunningham of Zelienople; her four adored grandchildren, Brayden, Brody, Paisley and Parker Cunningham, all of Hopewell Township; and the anticipated arrival of her newest grandson, Gavin Cunningham.
In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Vincent L. Cunningham Jr., who she married on Nov. 3, 1976, and who passed away on Dec. 27, 2011, and her brother, Thomas Bates.
Cunningham — Sue's family will welcome friends of Susan A. Bates Cunningham, who passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2015, from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home, 219 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.
