BRADENTON, Fla. — Pittsburgh Pirates infielder Jung Ho Kang will have to wait for his first hit as a big leaguer.

The rookie had a weak groundout in his only plate appearance in three innings of work at shortstop in a six-inning intrasquad scrimmage on Monday. The Black team beat Kang and the Gold team 2-1.

Steve Lombardozzi had two hits for the Black Andrew Lambo had an RBI single for the Black and Jose Tabata a sacrifice fly.
