In loving memory of Dorothy A. Hoover-Boyle who passed away 20 years ago today.

May 23, 1909 - February 25, 1995.

Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother.

It has been twenty years since you went to be with God. There has been not one day pass, in all that time, when we don’t think of you, miss you, and wish you were here.

Twenty years seems like such a long time, yet even today sometimes I will drive past your house and find myself expecting to see you there.

I can still see your smile, and hear your voice as if I had just seen you yesterday.

We all miss you so much. Our lives are all richer for having had you in them.

You wrote these words to me once in a card (a card which I still have) you wrote: “I love you a bushel and a peck and even more than that”. I know that I speak for our entire family when I say “we love you a bushel and a peck and even more than that”!
