Cody Skiver dropped 20 points, including three treys, as Moniteau overwhelmed Port Allegany 48-31 in a District 9 Class AA boys basketball quarterfinal playoff game Wednesday evening at DuBois Area High School.

The Warriors jumped out to a 17-4 lead in the first quarter. Jake Fullerton added 10 points in the victory.

The Gators (13-10) were led by Jordan Seefeldt’s 15 points.

Moniteau (10-13) will play the winner of tonight’s game between Redbank Valley and Brookville in the semifinals at a time, date and site to be determined.
