Kenneth and Maria Watterson

Maria Burns and Kenneth Watterson, both of Chicora, were united in marriage June 21 at St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church in Butler. The Rev. Matthew McClain officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Dan and Joyce Burns of Chicora. Parents of the bridegroom are Ken and Cindy Watterson of East Butler.

The bride is a 2001 graduate of Karns City High School. She graduated from Slippery Rock University in 2006 and Edinboro University in 2011.

She is employed by St. Wendelin School in Butler.

The bridegroom graduated from Butler High School in 1999. He graduated from Slippery Rock University in 2006.

He is employed by Lenape Tech in Ford City.

Following a honeymoon trip to Cozumel, Mexico, the couple is making their home in Chicora.
