SLIPPERY ROCK — Slippery Rock University offensive lineman Cory Tucker and defensive end Marcus Martin have been named honorable mention All-America by D2football.com.

Tucker was recently named first team All-Region. Martin was named Super Region One Freshman of the Year.

CLARION — Butler graduate and University of Pitt-Johnstown point guard Nate Snodgrass scored 15 points in his team's 82-77 loss at Clarion Wednesday night.Snodgrass sank four 3-pointers in the game for UPJ (9-10, 6-9).

GROVE CITY — Slippery Rock High School graduate and Westminster College junior Kelsey Reott won three events Thursday night in the Titan women’s swimming team’s 156-139 loss at Grove City.Reott won the 100-meter backstroke in 1:00.37, the 200 backstroke in 2:11.95 and the 200 individual medley in 2:15.50 for Westminster (8-4, 4-1).
