Eleanor Snodgrass

Eleanor G. Snodgrass, 93, of Cabot passed away Wednesday at the Good Samaritan Hospice at Concordia.

She was born on July 14, 1921, in Butler, to the late Clifford Minehart and Emma Eleanor Fishel Minehart.

Mrs. Snodgrass worked as a finisher and trimmer at Castle Rubber.

She was a member of The Presbyterian Church of Prospect and volunteered at Tanglewood Center. Mrs. Snodgrass was an avid bowler and loved to play cards.

Mrs. Snodgrass is survived by her two sons, Samuel Douthett and his wife, Karen, and Carl Douthett and his wife, Janie, all of Butler; her daughter, Margaret L. Douthett of Butler; her six grandchildren, Troy Douthett, Mindi D’Antoni, Becky Bell, Russell Douthett, Seth Douthett and Beth Douthett; her four great-grandchildren, Ciana D’Antoni and Noah, Grace and Mason Douthett; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald G. Snodgrass, who she married on Oct. 7, 1960, and who passed away on Feb. 16, 1996; her son, David Douthett; her four sisters; and her brother.

Snodgrass— There will be no public visitation for Eleanor G. Snodgrass, who passed away Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015.A private service will be at the convenience of the family with the Rev. James Boos of The Presbyterian Church of Prospect officiating. Private burial will take place in the Butler County Memorial Park.Arrangements are by the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E.
