Plane slides off runway at Zelie
FRANKLIN TWP, Beaver County — A small aircraft slid off the runway at Zelienople Municipal Airport due to icy conditions Thursday afternoon.
A small aircraft forced to make an emergency landing slid off the runway around 2:30 p.m., according to a dispatcher at Beaver County Emergency Services.
Police were called, though there were no injuries and no damage to the plane, the dispatcher said.
