Ina May and Ronald Kocian

Ronald and Ina May Kocian of Chicora will celebrate 40 years of marriage this week.

Kocian married the former Ina May Sarnowski on Jan. 31, 1975, at St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church in Pittsburgh.

They have two children, Theresa Miller of Hilliards and Sandra Kocian of Chicora.

They also have three grandchildren.

Kocian retired from BNY Mellon in Pittsburgh.

He is a member of the Knights of Columbus, Marriage Encounter and Cursillo.

Mrs. Kocian is a part-time secretary for Mater Dolorosa Roman Catholic Church and St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, both in Chicora.

She is a member of St. Joseph Christian Mothers, Marriage Encounter and Cursillo.

The Kocians are members of St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church in West Sunbury.
