Schnur 50th anniversary
Dale and Linda Schnur of Butler and Avon Park, Fla., celebrated 50 years of marriage with an anniversary party for family and friends at the Herman Banquet Hall in Herman.
Schnur married the former Linda Haust on Oct. 10, 1964, at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Butler.
They have six children, Dale Schnur Jr. of Butler,Christopher (Lyn) Schnur of Butler, Tamara (Thomas) Netzel of Virginia Beach, Va., Carina (Steven) Shay of Butler, Richard (Erinn) Schnur of Jupiter, Fla., andGeorge (Janel) Schnur of Clarkston, Mich.
They also have 15 grandchildren.
The Schnurs retired from Lindale Foodservice as owners. Both also retired from teaching science in Florida.
They are members of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church where they were active in the choir.
Schnur also was active in the East Butler Baseball Association for many years.
