Rocket runners break records

The Slippery Rock indoor track and field teams saw three school records fall at an invitational held at Kent State University over the weekend.

In boys action, Brady Kadlubek (2:05.71 in 800 run, first place) and Fred Urbaniak (8.74 in 60 hurdles, third place) now own the top spot in the Rockets' record book as does Megan Stephenson (8.1 in 60 dash, sixth place) on the girls side.

Also with strong efforts in the girls competition were Brady Dalton (10.2 in 60 hurdles, third place) and Claudia Allen (10.47 in 60 hurdles, fifth place).

For the boys, Andrew Maxwell placed fourth in the 3,200 run (10:10.3) and eighth in the 1,600 (4:46.01).
