SV boys' hoops wins in Cleveland

Snyder scores team-high 27 vs. Freedom

Zach Snyder scored 27 points and Seneca Valley rolled to a 78-31 win over Freedom Friday afternoon at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland.

The Raiders (6-1) raced to a 46-20 halftime lead before coasting from there. Dakota Topf also scored 10 points for Seneca Valley.

Julia Baxter scored a team-high 18-points, but Butler lost 61-50 to South Mountain (Arz.) at the Nike Tournament in Phoenix.

The Golden Tornado (3-4) trailed 34-25 at halftime. No further details were available.
