JACKSON TWP — The Butler County Coroner’s office this morning identified the man who died in a mobile home fire Thursday night.

Deputy Coroner John Hanovick identified the victim as Richard Butler, 67.

The suspected cause of his death is smoke inhalation, Hanovick said.

Butler’s home on Beahm Crest Lane home caught fire shortly after 7 p.m.

Hanovick also said the state police fire marshal this morning ruled the fire was caused by a wood burner and was accidental.
