Beale scores 22 in Freeport win

Josh Beale scored 22 points and Freeport used a scoring explosion in the fourth quarter to dispatch section foe Burrell, 53-47, in high school boys basketball action Tuesday night.

The Yellowjackets (4-1, 2-0) scored 29 points in the fourth quarter to overcome a four-point deficit and pull out the home win.

Beale also had eight rebounds and Mason Eddinger pitched in 12 points for Freeport, which will host Karns City tonight.
