Shirley A. McClafferty, 81, of Butler passed away Saturday morning at the VNA Inpatient Hospice, Butler.

Born on Feb. 20, 1933, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Edgar McClafferty and Eleanor Donahue McClafferty.

She had worked as an office clerk for the Parker Huntes Brokerage Firm in Butler.

She was a member of the St. Paul Roman Catholic Church and also the St. Paul's Catholic Women and Christian Mothers.

Surviving are her three sisters, Nancy (Joseph) Vidmar, Susan Moon and Joyce (Raymond) Collins, all of Butler, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Shirey.

McKean St., Butler, to recite the rosary.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
