6:15 p.m. Sunday — A Penn Township woman was arrested after she allegedly threatened another person with a handgun during an outdoor family get-together in the 300 block of West North Street.No shots were fired and one was injured, police said. The suspect, 49-year-old Wendy Werling, was taken into custody without incident. Police said they also seized the suspect's .380-caliber pistol.Werling was placed in the Butler County Prison to await arraignment on charges of terroristic threats and reckless endangerment.1:10 a.m. Sunday — Scott E. Tucker, 28, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence at Pillow Street and Third Avenue.Police said they came upon Tucker leaning out of his stopped vehicle and vomiting on the road. Officers asked the suspect, who smelled of alcohol, how much he had to drink that night. “Too much,” he replied, according to a police report.A breath test later showed his blood-alcohol level was 0.156 percent, nearly twice the state's 0.08 percent legal limit.

3:30 p.m. Sunday — A 31-year-old Hilliards man is suspected of going to extreme measures in a bid to get free Internet service.The suspect, who police did not identify, was caught in a bucket truck, tampering with wires on a utility pole at Freeport and Saxonburg roads in Butler Township.The case of theft of services remains under investigation.Sunday — A meat slicer, leaf blower, electric scooter and a children's play tent were found on Byers Road in Center Township. The owner or owners can claim the property by calling police at 724-284-8100.11:54 a.m. Saturday — Elizabeth L. Schnitski, 24, of Butler lost control of her car and struck a tree along Unionville Road in Franklin Township. Police said Schnitski was cited for driving too fast for conditions.10:30 a.m. Saturday — Ice and freezing rain were blamed for a rollover wreck in Brady Township. Karen E. Altman, 45, of West Sunbury lost control of her pickup truck and rolled onto its side on Route 8 just south of Johnson Lane.10:26 a.m. Saturday — An Allegheny County man was hurt when the pickup truck he was driving crashed and rolled over in the median on ice-covered Interstate 79 in Cranberry Township. Arthur W. Cato, 54, of Bellevue, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh with moderate injuries.10 a.m. Saturday — Victoria A. Botterbrodt, 23, of Medford, N.J., lost control of her pickup and crashed into a tree along West Park Road just north of the Slippery Rock Campground in Worth Township. Police said she was cited for driving too fast for conditions.Saturday — A scrap thief made off with 11 aluminum down spouts at two businesses on Route 8 in Center Township. The spouts, 6 to 12 feet long, were taken from the Clearview Flea Market and Nebel Optometry.A “taller man” in a dark-colored “medium size” sport utility vehicle was seen in the area and possibly was involved in the theft that happened between 5 p.m. Friday and 5:30 a.m. Saturday, according to a police report. Anyone with information is asked to call police.5:54 p.m. Friday — An Allegheny County man was hurt in a rear-end crash in Jefferson Township. The wreck happened when Margaret J. Popovic, 57, of Harrison City, Westmoreland County, pulled from Bonniebrook Road onto North Pike Road in front of a car driven by Robert J. Hornstein, 40, of Tarentum.Hornstein, who had the right of way, was unable to stop and struck the back of Popovic's car. Police said Popovic was cited for failing to yield.7:51 a.m. Nov. 6 — Cherrie L. Peffer, 52, of Portersville was hurt when a car driven by Tiffani M. Sintz, 25, of New Castle rear-ended her car on Route 422 just west of Old Route 422 in Franklin Township. The collision forced Peffer's vehicle into the back of a car driven by Nora M. Lersch, 47, of Pittsburgh.

1:59 a.m. Saturday — An unidentified driver was arrested for driving under the influence at Otto's Tavern parking lot on Allegheny Avenue in Emlenton.

4:47 a.m. Sunday — A 43-year-old Glenshaw, Allegheny County, woman was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his sport utility vehicle crashed into an embankment and rolled onto its roof on Route 28 about one-quarter mile south of the Route 422 split in North Buffalo Township.The driver, who police did not identify, was still trapped in her wrecked vehicle when troopers got there.11:56 p.m. Saturday — A 31-year-old Freedom, Beaver County, man was arrested for suspicion of DUI on Route 422 at the West Hills exit in East Franklin Township.12:52 p.m. Saturday — Kaylee A. Walker, 19, of Sarver lost control of her SUV on the ice covered road and crashed into a concrete barrier on Route 28 just south of Horseshoe Drive in South Buffalo Township.12:28 p.m. Saturday — SUVs driven by Georgia A. Mastarone, 49, of Vandergrift, Westmoreland County, and Darrell J. Leonard Jr., 44, of Ford City collided on Route 66 in Manor Township. Police blamed the wreck on freezing rain that suddenly turned the road icy.6:51 a.m. Friday — A car driven by Michael L. Amendola, 53, of Erie and a pickup driven by Alex P. Fiscus, 23, of Kittanning collided on Route 128 just west of Bunker Hill Road in North Buffalo Township. Police said Fiscus was cited for following too closely to another vehicle.

3:10 a.m. Saturday — Brittany L. Power, 25, of Erie was arrested for suspicion of DUI after her pickup truck struck a tree on Hadley Road just east of Airport Road in Perry Township.1:42 a.m. Saturday — Evan T. Smith, 21, of Mercer was hurt when he lost control of his car and struck and sheared off a utility pole along Route 208 just west of Route 19 in Springfield Township. Smith, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Grove City Medical Center with minor injuries.12:05 a.m. Thursday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Angela N. Lyons, 20, of Sandy Lake struck a tree along Jackson Center Polk Road just east of Henderson Road in Worth Township, Mercer County. Police said Lyons was cited for disregarding traffic lanes.
