Butler Township4:14 a.m. Nov. 1 — Ryan Schultheis, 22, of Cabot is facing charges of DUI, disorderly conduct, leaving the scene of an accident and driving at an unsafe speed after he crashed his pickup truck into a utility pole along Decatur Drive.Police said Schultheis fled the scene on foot when police arrived, but was arrested a short distance from the scene.Sept. 30 — Cody Howard, 23, of Slippery Rock and Jeffrey McMillen, 22, of Butler were charged with burglary and other offenses.Police said Howard allegedly entered a home along the 200 block of Bessemer Avenue and cut the electrical wire for the intention of scrapping it.McMillen allegedly entered the home and damaged property inside it.

State Police, Butler8:25 a.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Frank Schmiedlin, 21, of Butler and a car driven by Shirley Freyer, 66, of Glenshaw collided on Brewer Road in Clinton Township. Schmiedlin was cited for crossing the center line.

State Police, Mercer9:30 a.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Carolyn Rizza, 70, of Grove City and a pickup driven by Glenn Hoovler, 68, of Jackson Center in Mercer Township collided at the intersection of Irishtown and Mercer Grove City roads in Pine Township. The impact caused the pickup to hit a car driven by Troy Thomas, 26, of Beaver while it was stopped at a stop sign. Rizza was cited for not yielding the right of way from a stop sign.7 p.m. Tuesday — A car driven by Mary Boyer, 41, of Butler hit a tree along a snow-covered Mercer Butler Pike in Liberty Township. She was cited for not driving at safe speed.9 a.m. Friday — A 41-year-old Grove City man lost his Ruger M77 .270 bolt action rifle at the intersection of Route 258 and Jervis Road in Liberty Township. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police at 724-662-6162.

State Police, New Castle8:51 a.m. Friday — A PennDOT pickup driven by Adam Sipe, 40, of New Castle backed into a car driven by Daniel Tennant, 35, of New Wilmington, Lawrence County, that was stopped on Route 956 in Scott Township.
