Shakely, Sparks
Samantha Shakely and Adam Sparks were united in marriage Oct. 11 at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church. The Rev. Lester Knoll officiated. A reception followed at Oakview Golf Club.
The bride is the daughter of Bob and Miriam Shakely of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Daniel and Sandra Sparks of Oil City.
The honor attendant was Rebecca Shakely of Butler. Bridesmaids included Sarah Cook of Butler, Rebecca Smith of Erie and Nicole Weaver of Butler.
The flower girls were Gabrielle and Annabelle Alexander of Cranberry Township.
Performing the duties of best man was Justin Sparks of Oil City. Ushers included Andrew Shakely of Butler, Shawn Pelc of Correy and Brett Durci of Verona, N.J.
The ring bearer was Grant Alexander of Cranberry.
The bride is a 2009 graduate of Butler High School and a 2013 graduate of Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.
She is a government employee in Washington, D.C.
The bridegroom graduated from Oil City High School in 2005 and from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in 2011.

The couple took a honeymoon trip to Aruba.
