9:40 a.m. Monday — A car driven by Bethany Deal, 24, of Butler and a car driven by Diana Joseph, 76, of Butler collided at the intersection of West New Castle Street and Wagner Avenue.4:37 p.m. Oct. 14 — An SUV driven by Phillip Dailey Jr., 33, of East Brady struck a utility pole along West Penn Street. He was cited for careless driving and accidents involving unattended property.

9:23 p.m. Saturday — Jouline Lousie Walker, 24, of Butler was charged with retail theft, conspiracy to commit retail theft and criminal trespass and Eric O'Donnell, 29, also of Butler, was charged with retail theft, conspiracy to commit retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia after allegedly shoplifting $245.90 worth of merchandise from the Walmart store off Route 356.7:27 a.m. Friday — A vehicle driven by a 16-year-old boy and a vehicle driven by Anne Gullickson, 34, of Butler collided at the intersection of Hansen Avenue and Whitestown Road. The teen was cited for careless driving and restraint systems.

Monday — Multiple residents on Marwood Road in Winfield Township reported items stolen from their locked and unlocked vehicles overnight. Anyone with information is to call 724-284-8100.Sunday — The gate at the Jones Road trailhead of the Butler-Freeport Community Trail was torn out between 5 and 9 p.m. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police at 724-284-8100.7:50 p.m. Oct. 10 — A car driven by Adam Coddington, 30, of Connoquenessing hit an embankment along Moose Road in Connoquenessing Township before rolling onto its roof. The driver, who was not injured, was cited for not driving at a safe speed.Oct. 7 — Travis Duttine, 21, of East Brady was charged with theft and forgery after allegedly stealing three checks from Mogan Scott, 21, of Cabot, forging Scott's name and cashing them for a total of $700.

3:54 p.m. Sunday — A car driven by Robert Prowel, 71, of Butler struck the rear of a car driven by Nancy Leviere, 59, of Slippery Rock while it was stopped on Route 488 to turn left onto Portersville Road in Perry Township. Prowl was cited for following too closely.
