Alyssa Renee Blakley

Alyssa Renee Blakley, 21, of Butler passed away Monday at Allegheny General Hospital surrounded by her family and friends

Born in Butler on March 9, 1993, she was the beloved daughter of Timothy S. and Lisa A. Catalfano Blakley.

She was employed as a medical assistant at Pine Richland Medical Associates, an affiliate of Allegheny Health Network, in Gibsonia.

A graduate of Butler High School, Alyssa was a member of the Class of 2011. She earned an associate degree at Butler County Community College in 2013.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother, Darren E. Blakley of Butler; her maternal grandmother, Jane Catalfano of Butler; paternal grandmother, Martha Blakley of Butler; her maternal uncle, Joseph Catalfano and his wife, Maria, of Arizona, and her three maternal aunts, Tina Marks and her husband, Gary, of Monroeville, Valerie Waterman and her husband, Kevin, of Connecticut, and Cathy Studeny and her husband, Paul, of Meridian.

She is also survived by her two paternal uncles, Dave Blakley of Mercer and Chris Blakley of Grove City; her paternal aunt, Sue Ellen Blicha and her husband, John, of Brookville, and a number of cousins.

Alyssa loved all her cousins, but closest to her heart were Layla, Nick, Faith, and Baby Ryan.

She also loved her dogs, Patches and Jeter.

Blakley— The friends of Alyssa Renee Blakley, who passed away Monday, Oct. 20, 2014, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Martin Funeral Home, 429 Center Ave., Butler.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Pastor Scott Bates of the Mercer Baptist Church officiating.
