KC's Olszak breaks record

Karns City goalkeeper David Olszak broke the school record for career shutouts as the Gremlins' boys soccer team blanked visiting Redbank Valley 6-0 Wednesday night.

It was Olszak's 30th career shutout.

Spenser Myers led KC's offense with two goals while Conrad Snyder, Matt Yough, Caleb Garing and Tyler Pollock each scored once for the Gremlins (10-2-1).

Megan McCartney and Emily LoPresti both scored a goal to lift Karns City to a 2-0 win at Forest Area.The victory improves the Gremlins to 9-1 on the season.Freeport 1, Burrell 0 — Hannah Stokes scored the lone goal of the match and Cassie Suran preserved the shutout with seven saves for the Yellowjackets (9-4-2, 7-2-2).Butler 5, Shaler 0 — The Golden Tornado (6-7, 6-4) received goals from Chloe Bowser, Hannah Hays, Brittnie Spithaler, Alexis Leech and Anna Rashid.
