POLICE REPORTS

These items have been collected from various police departments.

State Police, Butler

Friday — Elliott’s Used Car Sales, 1915 N. Main Street Extension, Center Township, is being charged with failing to send a vehicle title application along with state taxes and fees to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. The charges stem from a vehicle sale on March 22.

The dealership also is facing other dealership violations, according to police.

Butler Township Police

7: 57 a.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Samantha Mullenax, 28, of Butler struck the back of a car driven by Thomas Wotus, 56, of Butler at the intersection of Picklegate Crossing and Route 8.

Mullenax’s car had to be towed. She was cited with careless driving.

State Police, Franklin

2:20 a.m. Friday — A car driven by Joshua M. Miller, 23, of Boyers crashed into two stop signs and a mailbox along Old Route 8 in Sandycreek Township, Venango County.

Police said Miller lost control of the car while driving around a right curve northbound, just west of Route 8.

Miller was cited with driving at an unsafe speed.

State Police, Kittanning

7:30 p.m. Friday — A two-car accident occurred at the intersection of Westgate Drive and Route 268 in East Franklin Township, Armstrong County.

Police said Devon J. Smith, 18, of Leechburg drove through a stop sign while driving east on Westgate Drive and struck the front driver’s side of an SUV driven by Terilee R. Duceour, 29, of Kittanning.

Police said Smith’s registration was under suspension for failure to have insurance. His car also had a plate assigned to another vehicle. Smith was cited for driving without insurance, driving with suspended registration, unauthorized use of registration and a stop sign violation.

Both cars were towed.
