Doré, Miller

Christine and Michael Miller

Christine Simpson Doré and Michael George Miller, both of Encino, Calif., were united in marriage June 21 at Point Vicente Interpretive Center in Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif. Anthony Resnick officiated. A reception followed at the Point Vicente Interpretive Center.

The bride is the daughter of Lonnie and Carol Doré of Broussard, La. Parents of the bridegroom are George and Mary Ann Miller Jr. of Butler.

The matron of honor was Ann Lamia of Olive Branch, Miss.

Performing the duties of best man was Matthew Miller of Encino.

The bride is a 2003 graduate of Lakeview High School in Battle Creek, Mich. She graduated in 2007 from Western Michigan University and has a bachelor’s degree in business administration.

She is the e-commerce marketing coordinator for Ticketmaster in Hollywood, Calif.

The bridegroom graduated in 1994 from Butler High School. In 1997, he graduated from the University of Southern California with a bachelor’s degree in cinema-television.

He is the co-founder and CEO of Taco Twins Films, a post-production film and television company in Los Angeles, and editor for National Geographic Channel in Los Angeles.

Following a honeymoon trip to Big Sur and Monterey Bay, Calif., the couple is residing in Encino.
