Woman promoted to lead VNA

A new executive director has been named at Lutheran Senior Life VNA.

Margie Walsh, a longtime VNA employee, took over her new position this month after being the interim executive director since February, the agency announced today

She replaces Liz Powell, who retired in February.

She has been at the VNA in Butler since 1981, holding a variety of roles, including the vice president of marketing and sales.

VNA is a nonprofit home health and hospice agency which serves residents in Butler, Armstrong, Lawrence, Beaver, and parts of Westmoreland, Mercer, and Allegheny counties.

Its services include home health, at-home and inpatient hospice, private duty, telehealth, and home safety and independence devices.

Lutheran Senior Life provides independent living, personal care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, Alzheimer’s care, and other long term care needs.
