Burning motor causes evacuation at Clearfield Elementary School
CLEARFIELD TWP — Students at Clearfield Elementary School had to be evacuated this afternoon after the fire alarm went off.
The alarm went off after 1:45 p.m., and was caused by smoke from a motor burning out over the cafeteria. Firefighters reset the alarm at about 2 p.m., and school officials called an electrician to work on the motor.
