BUTLER TWP — VA Butler Healthcare will host a mental health summit next month.

The all-day event, which will run from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sept. 10, is to have the VA and the community work together and to bring awareness of mental health ailments.

Topics of discussion will include understanding military culture, recovery, community partnerships and family resources. Dr. Roger Brooke of the Military Psychology Clinic, Duquesne University, will provide a 10 a.m. keynote address.

Veterans, family members, VA employees, volunteers and community members are invited to attend.

It will be at the VA auditorium, Building One, 325 New Castle Road.
