Butler County's great daily newspaper

Leave it alone

I am in my eighties and have lived in Adams Township and then Middlesex Township all my life.

I can understand people wanting to move to the country. I love it. I do have to smile as I see the sidewalks and sometimes street lights appearing, but these are their homes and they have the right to make that choice.

I have met some of these people and they are very nice, and I believe they are really concerned for their children.

I have listened to all the pros and cons of the gas lines, but now with the talk of changing the number of supervisors in our two townships I am getting angry.

Why not look at these situations before moving to the country? Those of us who have been living here don't always agree with our supervisors. Life doesn't always go our way. But this is how we have chosen for our townships to work and we do wish some of our country ways could remain as is.
