Kenneth C. Magee

Kenneth C. Magee, 69, of Portersville, passed away Monday night at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born on Oct. 11, 1944, in Ellwood City, he was a son of the late Thomas Dale Magee and Lucy E. McElwain Magee.

Surviving at home is his wife of 44 years, Barbara Schuller Magee, who he married on June 5, 1970.

Ken served his country in the U.S. Army from 1965 to 1967.

He was employed with American Recycled Pallet and was also the milk processor with Schiever Dairy Farm.

Among his many interests were reading, puzzles, hooking rugs and model cars. He was a charter member of the Portersville Bible Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Beverly Magee; his son, Jonathan Magee; his two brothers, James C. Magee and Larry B. Magee Sr.; his sister, Sarah L. Magee; and his nephew, Larry B. Magee Jr.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Magee— Visitation for Kenneth C. Magee, who passed away Monday, Aug. 18, 2014, will be from 4 until time of service at 7 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Mike Charles officiating at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home, 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. Burial will be in Greenlawn Burial Estates.The obituary may be viewed and online condolences offered at www.cunninghamfh.com.
