Debra Sue Rearick Chura, 49, of Butler passed away suddenly at 2:45 p.m. Friday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Debra was born on March 12, 1965. She was a graduate of the Class of 1983 from Knoch High School and also graduated from Butler Area Vo-Tech with a degree in cosmetology.

She is survived by her husband, Barry Chura; her son, Chad Vogel; her daughter, Shea Vogel; her mother, Mrs. Robert M. Tirk; her sister, June Rearick; her brothers, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Rearick, Mr. and Mrs. Chuck Rearick and Mr. and Mrs. Donald “D.J.” Rearick Jr.; her sister, Jeanne Shields; her grandson, Jesse James; and other numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Les Hamder, and her grandmother, June “Nanny” Hartman.

She was an avid bingo player who also enjoyed camping, dancing, animals and her collection of angels.
