Most people are taught not to mix religion with politics. But if there’s no place for religion in government, then why was the statement about freedom of religion put in the Bill of Rights? A person’s values have to come from somewhere.

Do voters follow their values when they vote, or do they follow people? Too many, I feel, sacrifice their values for deals in any situation. The federal government has proven that over and over again.
