Deaths of man, woman probed as murder-suicide

JACKSON TWP — Authorities are investigating the deaths of a man and a woman found shot in a house as a possible murder-suicide.
State police in Butler County said officers were called to a house on Evans Road about 5:40 p.m. Wednesday and found the two dead.
They have been identified as Dana Miller, 47, of Cranberry Township and Jeffrey Miller, 52, who lived in the house.
Capt. Steve Ignatz said it appeared that Dana Miller had been shot by Jeffrey Miller, who also had been shot. The couple were married but was in the process of getting a divorce.
Sgt. Patrick Sarnese said investigators do not believe there is any threat to the community.
