Mars girls hoop camp scheduled
ADAMS TWP — The Mars Girls Summer Basketball Camp takes place from 9 a.m. to noon Aug. 11-14 at Mars Middle School. The camp is open to any girl in grades 4-8 and is not limited to the Mars area. Fee is $85 with a discount given to siblings. Contact Tony Howard at email@example.com for details.

CRANBERRY TWP — A Seneca Valley Boys Basketball summer camp is slated for Aug. 4-7 at Haine Elementary.
Boys entering grades 1-7 are eligible. Cost is $55.

British Soccer Camps coming
PINE TWP — The Pine Community Center will host British Soccer Camps Aug. 4-8.
The camp will be divided into age groups, including:
First Kicks (Age 3): 9 to 10 a.m. each day. Fee is $100 for members and $130 for nonmembers.
Mini Soccer (Ages 4-5): 10:30 a.m. to noon each day. Fee is $122 for members and $155 for nonmembers.
Half Day (Ages 6-16): 9 a.m. to noon each day. Fee is $147 for members and $197 for nonmembers.
Goal Keeper/Scorer (Ages 8-16): 1 to 3 p.m. Aug. 4-7. Fee is $50 for members and $65 for nonmembers. Campers must also sign up for a half-day or full-day camp.

Memorial 5K slated Sept. 20
JEFFERSON TWP — Good Samaritan Hospice, a mission of Concordia Lutheran Ministries, will host its 13th annual Memorial 5K Run/Walk and 1-Mile Fun Walk Sept. 20 at the North Park swimming pool.
Registration begins at 7:30 a.m., the run/walk at 9 a.m. Registration fees are $20 until Sept. 15, $25 afterward. Proceeds benefit GSH programs for residents facing a life-limiting illness.

Elk license deadline Thursday
HARRISBURG — Deadline to enter the annual drawing for elk hunting licenses in Pennsylvania is Thursday.
The drawing will be held Aug. 16 in Benezette as part of the Pennsylvania Great Outdoors Elk Expo.
Applications can be submitted anywhere hunting licenses are sold, or online at www.pgc.state.pa.us. There is a $10.70 fee to be included in the drawing.
